PRIME provides support in the following areas of application. Most improvement projects will draw on elements from a number of the application areas. PRIME is not associated with any third party supplier of systems or services and develops an improvement programme from the most appropriate techniques. It is appropriate to run a condition-based maintenance programme on plant that requires it, while at the same time adopting a failure-based approach on other plant.

Option 1.  Maintenance Systems Audits.

The Maintenance Audit is usually the starting point for PRIME to become involved with a new client. The PRIME Outline Audit is free of charge and will provide a comprehensive insight into the areas of opportunity that exist for improvement within a company's maintenance systems.

Option 2.  Preparation of Maintenance Improvement Plans   based on the Maintenance Audit Report, comprising :                                   

·  Schedule of Improvement Recommendations

·  Definition of Appropriate Technologies

·  Development programme with Milestones

Option 3. Tailored Maintenance Improvement Projects,  which could include :

·   OEE improvement programmes (the software system is provided free of charge)

·   Condition-based maintenance programmes

·  Failure Mode, Effect & Criticality Analysis (the software system is provided free of charge)

·  Safety reviews, PTWs, Maintenance Risk Assessments

·  Availability improvement programmes

·  Avoidable maintenance elimination programmes

·  Computer-Aided Maintenance implementations

·  Multiskilling and Empowerment programmes

·  Operator ownership programmes

·  Stores reduction programmes

·  Reliability improvement studies        etc

Option 4.   Retained Maintenance Management Service  which would include :

·  Agreed number of consultancy days per year

·  Special rate for retainer based contract

·  Agreed calloff of retained days to suit clients requirements                      

Option 5.  Project Management Support

·  Development of project control systems, procedures and operating methodologies

· Selection of preferred contract terms and selection and appointment of contractors

Option 6.  Preparation of Policies, Strategies and Procedures.

·  Developed as required to suit the needs of the Client  

·  For projects or maintenance applications

  Fixed price or contingent-fee contracts are available for projects where the project scope and deliverables can be adequately specified.
