Home Sample Audit Report

The PRIME Audit combines a study of key performance metrics with a diagnostic audit of the core maintenance systems. The audit also assesses the perceptions of senior managers within the company and quantifies the business objectives, developing from them a set of drivers for the maintenance process. The audit report assesses the delivered performance of the maintenance system against Best Practice norms for the industry sector and assesses the maintenance practices employed in comparison with those that would be expected to be in place in an effective operation.

By assessing both the practices that are employed in maintenance and the performance that is delivered, an understanding of the "Value for Money" grading of the maintenance function is obtained.

The audit report presents a set of proposals that will deliver the business objectives that have been set in such a way that they provide the basis of a subsequent improvement project. This can also be developed with timescales, milestones and resources if required.

The full Maintenance Audit assesses the business objectives and the existing maintenance practices in more depth than would be the case in the free Outline Audit. However, in the case of SMEs it is suggested that the Outline Audit will provide a sufficiently clear and focussed appraisal of the strengths and weaknesses of the existing systems in its own right, obviating the need to conduct the full audit.

There is no commitment to use PRIME in the improvement process, but if you wish to do so you will find that you will receive a service that is both professional and extremely cost-effective.
