The "OEE Manager” CMMS Software

"OEE Manager" is supplied free of charge to clients using PRIME's consultancy services, and at a very low cost to web-based customers.

The PRIME "OEE Manager” software is unique, in that it is designed for use in manufacturing companies to provide all of the features that are necessary to support continuous improvement processes. The software incorporates standard CMMS functionality, covering work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling and stores control. For manufacturers that employ non-fixed assets such as tooling or strategic spare capital plant, there is a Tooling Module that generates a full audit trail for these items. Planners, craftsmen, operators and storemen can be set up to sign on to tailored, abbreviated sets of menus set up for specific clients.

To complete the continuous improvement cycle, "OEE Manager" also incorporates modules for carrying out Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Assessment (FMEA), specifically designed for a maintenance environment, a Root Cause Elimination package for managing the continuous improvement process, and an OEE measurement/reporting module to link the maintenance activity with overall manufacturing performance.

The CMMS functions have been particularly designed for small/medium-sized manufacturing organisations, where the resources available for managing the work order and PPM functions is very limited. The system functions comprise:

	A Work Order management system, including work requests, a simple planning/scheduling system, and a full set of maintenance history reports by job type, by equipment, by fault type etc.
	A Preventive Maintenance management system, incorporating options to schedule on a fixed duration, fixed interval or by metered units. Also, options to launch PPMs manually or automatically.
	An Engineering Spare Parts Control system, including cycle counting, re-order reporting as well as the usual materials movement transactions and a set of inventory reports.
	A Tooling Management system, providing a full audit trail. This module can also be used to track items of plant or strategic spares that move between duties or locations.
	A Projects/Modifications Management system.

Additionally, there are 2 modules designed to provide a comprehensive, closed loop capability to use the loss information in the system to generate and manage an effective continuous improvement program. These modules comprise :

A Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality assessment module, specifically designed for maintenance

A Root Cause Elimination module, including features for tracking improvement project actions

Each of these sub-systems incorporate a suite of commonly-required reports.
